EIS (Excellence In Service) is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Domestic Freight Broker to join our expanding team. This is a full-time, in-office position — no remote work.

What You'll Do
- Quote, book, monitor, and bill Full Truckload and LTL shipments while maximizing profitability and meeting service standards
- Onboard new carriers to support our growing network and operational needs
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers and drivers to track load status in real time
- Negotiate carrier rates in a manner that optimizes profit on every shipment
- Identify and select reputable, safe carriers for all freight services
- Provide the operations team with timely, competitive price quotes
- Manage escalations via phone and email with both customers and carriers as needed
- Collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Oversee billing and invoicing with accuracy and efficiency
- Keep customers informed on shipment status and assist with inquiries

Prior freight brokerage or logistics experience is a strong plus. Familiarity with TMS platforms, carrier vetting, and domestic freight modes will set you apart.
