The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the month-end close process, financial reporting, and audit processes for the organization. - Department: Finance
- Base Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000 annually
- Bonus: 10% annual incentive target
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Prepare journal entries, monthly accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights to management.
- Work alongside accounting team to ensure processes and controls are executed timely and accurately.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions.
- Partner with FP&A and other departments in supporting budget and forecast processes with accurate historical data.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to increase efficiency.
- Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in a multi-location food and beverage or retail organization.
- Experience implementing process improvements and system integrations.
- Familiarity with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or food and beverage environment.
