POSITION: Domestic Violence Victim Advocate
PROGRAM: PeaceKeepers, Espanola, NM
STATUS: Regular/Full-Time/Non-Exempt

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in domestic violence services, shelter services, victim advocacy, or a closely related field. Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY: As part of the Advocacy component of the PeaceKeepers Domestic Violence Program, the Domestic Violence Victim Advocate provides trauma-informed, culturally respectful, and survivor-centered advocacy services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence within the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos. The position plays a vital role in crisis response, safety planning, case management, and coordination of supportive services across Tribal, county, state, and federal systems. The Advocate ensures that services are delivered with cultural humility, confidentiality, and professionalism, and are aligned with the mission, values, and community-centered approach of ENIPC and the PeaceKeepers Program.
