POSITION: Child Care and Development Fund Certifier
PROGRAM: CCDF, Espanola, NM
STATUS: Regular/Full-Time/Non-Exempt

RATE OF PAY: DOE
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of job-related experience, preferably in an administrative department, office technical experience, responsibility in a child care program, including responsibility for word processing, filing systems, and general office functions.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES: Certification in Community CPR and Basic First Aid. Maintain any appropriate memberships in professional societies.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Certifier is responsible for determining and maintaining eligibility for child care assistance services in accordance with federal regulations, Tribal policies, and program requirements. This position provides direct customer service to families and child care providers by conducting eligibility interviews, processing applications and recertifications, maintaining confidential case records, and ensuring timely delivery of child care benefits.
