POSITION: Outpatient Therapist

PROGRAM: ENIPC Behavioral Health Services, Ohkay Owingeh, NM

STATUS: Regular/Full-Time/Exempt

EDUCATION: Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Behavioral Health, or a closely related clinical behavioral health field from an appropriately accredited institution.

EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent behavioral health, child development, family systems, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practice is required.

REQUIRED LICENSES: Current New Mexico behavioral health professional license appropriate to the discipline and scope of practice (including LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, LMFT, or licensed psychologist), or eligibility for such licensure in accordance with New Mexico requirements. The employee must maintain all licenses, supervision requirements, and credentials required for the assigned scope of practice. CPR and First Aid certification required; BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY: The ENIPC Behavioral Health Services Child and Adolescent Therapist provides comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services primarily to children, adolescents, and their families. The Therapist maintains an assigned clinical caseload and provides developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, family-centered, culturally responsive, and evidence-based or evidence-informed assessment and treatment. Services may include individual, family, and group psychotherapy; diagnostic assessment; treatment planning; crisis intervention and safety planning; care coordination; discharge and aftercare planning; caregiver education and support; and collaboration with Tribal programs, schools, CYFD, juvenile justice, healthcare providers, and other child- and family-serving systems.

Work is performed under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and in compliance with ENIPC, Inc. Behavioral Health Department standards, New Mexico Department of Healthcare Authority requirements, New Mexico Medical Assistance Division (MAD), Children, Youth & Families Department (CYFD) Children’s Behavioral Health Services guidelines, and Indian Health Service (IHS) guidelines.
