Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings
- Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve ice cream cones, shakes, bubble waffles, mini pancakes, and other frozen treats following food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including food handling stations, counters, and seating areas
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Support food preparation tasks such as scooping, topping, and packaging to ensure quick service during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Clover POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving customers and cashier duties
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and retail math calculations
- Experience in cashiering or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends
