- Perform scheduled maintenance and basic repairs on Kia vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair options and provide accurate repair estimates
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately, maintaining a high level of productivity while ensuring quality work
- Document all repairs and services performed using our electronic systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines
- Continually update knowledge of Kia vehicles, technology, and repair procedures through training and workshops
- Assist in training and guiding apprentice technicians when needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as electronic systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
