JOB TITLE: Account Manager
DEPARTMENT: Customer Service
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage, maintain, and grow revenue of assigned customers ensuring that clients are satisfied with our solutions
- Collaborate closely with internal departments clearly communicating expectations ensuring that each department is meeting the needs of our customers
- Handle customer questions and complaints, find solutions to their issues and maintain a positive relationship between both parties for future business ventures
- Clearly and consistently communicate needs of internal departments to assigned customers ensuring flow of information is timely and accurate allowing us to build high quality product and provide industry leading customer service
- Drive our quote process and present customers with quote proposals that are accurate and profitable
- Manage customer profitability ensuring margin profile targets are maintained and protected
- Process customer requests, including but not limited to purchase orders, sales order adjustments, quote requests, engineering change orders, returns, and corrective action requests
- Assist with making sales calls/visits to assigned customer locations
- Host and organize customer visits to EI Microcircuits manufacturing sites
- Develop, execute, and maintain customer account plans including analyzing forecasts and sales trends
- Organize and implement Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with assigned ‘Strategic Accounts’
- Occasional overnight travel is required
- All other duties assigned by your Supervisor/Manager
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Advanced motivational and negotiation skills
- Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing customer data
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills that allow you to be empathetic and understanding
- Maintain a positive attitude and a desire to serve our customers exceptionally well
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with a team or independently as needed
- Must be able to sit at a desk and work in front of a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day
- Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background check
- Must be able to meet all physical requirements as outlined in this position description
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- A four-year degree from an accredited college preferred
- 5 years in an Account or Program Manager/Customer Service role (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
