Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 Growth Opportunity

We are seeking a strong, hands-on Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef to join a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen in Chicago. This Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef role is ideal for a driven culinary leader who thrives in structured environments, values consistency, and takes pride in developing teams and executing at a high level.

What You’ll Do as a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef:

  • Lead and support all back-of-house operations as a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Ensure consistent execution of food quality, presentation, and standards
  • Manage ordering, inventory, food cost, and waste control
  • Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
  • Partner with leadership to drive efficiency and performance


What We’re Looking For in a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef:

  • 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef in a high-volume concept
  • Stable work history (no job hoppers – proven tenure required)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold teams accountable
  • Solid understanding of food cost, labor management, and kitchen systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for hospitality, team development, and operational excellence
