Summary
Directs and coordinates all activities of the following department(s): Maintenance, Set-Up, CNC, and Engineering. The role is responsible for support in the processing of materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate roles with EHOB.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Reviews production orders and/or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products to plan department operations.
- Prepares maintenance schedules and coordinates activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
- Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to optimize costs and prevent operational delays.
- Maintains an annual operating budget, in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
- Procures parts, machines, materials, and other products that are necessary to run the operation as needed.
- Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Reads and understands blueprints of buildings, machines, tooling, and electrical diagrams.
- Project planning and implementation of small and large projects.
- Works to resolve worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Human Resources for action.
- Compiles, stores, and retrieves preventative maintenance and machine repair data.
- Participate as a member of the Management Review Board on decisions that affect the company and its policies.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises 8 employees in the Maintenance, Set-Up, CNC, and Engineering departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry knowledge. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations within the operation.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
Position requires competency with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with a CMMS system and ERP/WMS system is preferred. Experience with Scanning Technology and implementation.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software.
