What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Insurance Marketing Executive position at EHD?
The Associate Marketing Executive is part of the team that develops overall insurance marketing strategies for all commercial insurance submissions to our key insurance carrier partners. The position will be responsible for gathering information required for complete and accurate insurance submissions from the sales staff. The position will also assist in coordinating carrier meetings, internal departmental meetings and administrative support for the department.
General Submission Support
- Create, organize and submit complete and verified applications to carrier partners.
- As directed, analyze carrier proposals for pricing and coverage accuracy.
- Assist in providing proposal comparisons and coverage recommendations, where appropriate.
- Provide status updates to carriers and internal staff, as directed.
- Develop professional relationships with carrier partners.
- Assist with updating producer on progress of applications, as directed.
- Assist with preparation of final proposals being presented to clients.
- Assist with projects as directed by AVP of Commercial Marketing or Marketing Executives.
- Input required information into Agency Management system as needed.
- Analyze insurance submissions for accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing to others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.
- Ability to work independently as well as in coordination with other members of the team.
- Ability to set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
- Ability to manage and perform day-to-day transactions on multiple carrier sites.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of insurance products and usage.
- Possess good mathematical skills.
- Obtain PA Property and Casualty License and maintain the license by completing continuing education requirements.
- Ability to travel to meetings as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
