Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end NPD/NPI projects from concept through manufacturing transfer, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality delivery.
- Act as primary customer interface, managing expectations, scope changes, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, procurement, manufacturing) using Microsoft Project.
- Manage risks, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables for high-complexity electronics projects.
- Develop/refine project proposals with cost estimates, resource plans, and DFM/DFT considerations.
- Mentor junior PMs and contribute to PMO process improvements.
- Drive technical leadership in electronics, embedded systems, and regulated product development.
Required Experience
- 5-10 years managing complex technical projects in electronics product development, engineering services, or contract manufacturing.
- Proven success with multi-disciplinary teams through design, verification, regulatory approval, and manufacturing transfer.
- Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, automotive, defense) with FDA/ISO 13485 knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple medium/large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Technical understanding of electronics, embedded systems, NPI principles (DFM/DFT).
- PMP certification preferred; Lean/Six Sigma a plus.
- Proficiency in project planning/scheduling tools (Microsoft Project desirable).
