Eggy’s Cafe is a Taiwanese-style breakfast food truck based in Redmond, WA, dedicated to serving freshly made egg pancakes, iron plate noodles, soy milk, and more. We bring a taste of Taiwan to Seattle’s Eastside with high-quality ingredients, warm service, and creative food culture.
We are currently seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to join our small but growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about food, dependable, and ready to grow with a startup business.
- Assist in preparing Taiwanese breakfast items such as egg pancakes, rice rolls, and iron plate noodles
- Perform basic food prep and cooking tasks in a shared commercial kitchen
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen workspace
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support food packing and service during truck operations
- Occasionally assist with simple customer-facing tasks as needed
- Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred (but not required – we will train the right person)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
- Available for morning shifts (starting around 6:30 AM)
- Speak Chinese and English
- Part-Time (15–25 hours/week)
- Starting pay: $18–20 per hour, depending on experience
