What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Eggs Up Grill?
Eggs Up Grill is hiring line cooks for our brand-new location, in the Wedgewood Commons, on Goodman Road, in Olive Branch. We serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily from 6am to 2pm. Work with us and be home in time for dinner. Must be a great multitasker, professional, and previous cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant is preferred. Our cooks are responsible for creating that unforgettable guest experience through the proper preparation of the best-tasting recipes around! You are responsible for top-notch cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times. You will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each other's success in a fast-paced environment. Open availability on weekends is mandatory for this position.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef/prep cook
- Familiarity and fluency in kitchen terminology
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, procedures, and equipment
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry best practices
- Willingness to pursue ServSafe certification is a plus
