What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Driver (Part time - Friday evening) position at EGA Logistics?
Looking for a part time yard jockey for Friday evenings from 2pm - 11pm. Starting pay is $26. This is non-exempt (hourly) position, paid weekly. Hours worked over 40 hours in 1-week qualify for overtime (paid time and a half).
Qualifications
- Have 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- One year of yard jockey experience
- Hold an active Class A commercial driver’s license
- Able to pass a drug & alcohol test
- Be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for safe operations at our facilities and for shuttling trailers between our staging locations
- In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring your vehicle complies with the company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle
- Perform yard and shuttle work
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Follow work schedule and meet challenges as they arise
- Adhere to company policies and rules
- Keep your work environment clean and organized
- Act in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner with customers and co-workers (Quality focused, commitment to excellence, attention to detail, excellence in customer service, positive and energetic, well-spoken and communicates effectively).
