Job Summary
Effy Jewelry is seeking a creative and highly skilled Social Media Graphic Designer to drive the visual storytelling behind our social media presence. This role will be responsible for creating engaging, brand-elevating content across organic and paid social channels, combining strong graphic design expertise with short-form video editing capabilities.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social media trends, platform-specific creative best practices, and luxury brand aesthetics. They will transform existing campaign assets, product imagery, and creator content into compelling visuals that capture attention, strengthen brand awareness, and drive engagement and performance across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube. This role is highly collaborative, partnering with Social Media, Influencer Marketing, E-Commerce, and Creative teams to bring campaigns to life while maintaining a consistent and elevated brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
Visual & Graphic Content (Primary)
- Design social-first graphics, carousels, and stories across across all major social platforms
- Adapt campaign creative across formats and channels while keeping visual consistency
- Develop original layouts, typography treatments, and graphic systems that translate the brand into platform-native formats
- Build and maintain scalable templates and asset libraries so the team can move fast without losing polish
- Design paid social ad creative for Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest, including variant production for testing
Short-Form Video Editing
- Edit Reels, TikToks, and Shorts using existing footage, product photography, and creator content
- Repurpose past campaign content into new social assets and platform-native cuts
- Add visual interest to existing footage through motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, effects, and sound design
- Handle pacing, captions, and rhythm so content holds attention on mute and at speed
- Work with tools like Premiere, CapCut, After Effects, or similar
Creative Collaboration
- Partner with the social and influencer teams to bring campaigns and content calendars to life
- Contribute ideas in brainstorms, not just execute briefs
- Ensure all creative aligns with Effy's brand voice and visual identity
Performance & Optimization
- Use engagement and ad performance data to refine creative approaches
- Identify what's working across organic and paid and double down
- Stay current on social, design, and internet culture trends and apply them strategically
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional experience in social media design, digital design, or graphic design
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and at least one video editor (Premiere, CapCut, After Effects)
- Experience editing existing footage into polished short-form video, including motion graphics and visual effects
- Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, composition, and color
- Portfolio with social-first work (IG, TikTok, Pinterest, paid ad creative)
Preferred Experience
- Designing for jewelry, fashion, beauty, or other luxury/lifestyle brands
- Motion design or kinetic typography
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design and video tools (Midjourney, Runway, Seedance, etc.)
- Comfortable working in Figma or Canva for templating
Salary Range:
$60,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
