Position Overview
Effortlessly Healthy is seeking an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Grill Cook to join our growing culinary team.
We produce thousands of fresh, healthy meals each week for our meal delivery programs, healthcare partners, and catering customers.
We are looking for someone who works efficiently, takes pride in food quality, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume commercial kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Grill and prepare chicken, beef, turkey, and other proteins in large quantities.
- Follow standardized recipes and production schedules.
- Maintain consistent food quality, flavor, and proper cooking temperatures.
- Complete daily production assignments accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements.
- Properly handle, store, and rotate ingredients.
- Minimize food waste and maintain portion consistency.
- Assist with additional food preparation and kitchen duties as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and kitchen production team.
Qualifications
- Previous grill cook or commercial kitchen experience preferred.
- Experience with high-volume cooking strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and proper cooking temperatures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
