Job Opening: Full-Time Bilingual Office Clerk / Insurance CSR
We are currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Clerk / Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Chinatown office.
This is a fantastic, entry-level opportunity for anyone looking to build a career in a professional office environment. No prior insurance experience necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, greeting them warmly and answering basic inquiries.
- Assist clients in both English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).
- Perform routine clerical and administrative tasks, including data entry, and organizing documents.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence via phone and email (Microsoft Outlook).
- Carefully follow instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure client information is processed accurately.
- Draft and format basic documents using Microsoft Word.
- Support the licensed insurance brokers with daily operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Language Skills: Fluent in reading and writing English, and fluent in speaking Chinese. (Fluency in both Mandarin and Cantonese is highly preferred).
- Experience: Prior office experience; no prior insurance experience is necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Must be highly detail-oriented and capable of following precise instructions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with regular office applications, specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook, is preferred.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
