What You'll Build
You'll own the operational foundation that turns product traction into repeatable growth. This means building systems, teams, and processes from scratch:
Experience:
You'll build operational systems from scratch and scale into leadership. Today you're hands-on. In 12 months you're hiring a team. In 24 months you could be VP of Ops, Head of CS, or Chief of Staff.
You'll learn to build AI agents for complex knowledge work, a rare capability as AI transforms how specialized teams operate. And you'll shape culture, go-to-market, and operational DNA from day one.

What You'll Build
You'll own the operational foundation that turns product traction into repeatable growth. This means building systems, teams, and processes from scratch:
- Design and implement our first customer onboarding playbook, turning complex product into smooth activation
- Build health scoring, usage tracking, and early warning systems for retention
- Stand up sales infrastructure: CRM, pipeline tracking, forecasting, territory planning
- Build sales collateral, demo environments, and proof-of-value frameworks
- Recruit and manage domain experts to generate training and evaluation data
- Design QA workflows and quality control systems for expert annotations
- Establish data partnerships with industry providers, bureaus, and data vendors
- Partner with CEO on fundraising materials and investor updates
- Build dashboards for unit economics, customer metrics, and operational health
- Own high-priority projects that unblock growth
- Hire and lead first CS and operations team members as we scale
Experience:
- 3-6 years in business operations, strategy, consulting, or high-agency startup roles
- At least 1-2 years in an operational role at a high-growth company (not just advisory/strategic)
- Experience building something from scratch, whether it's a process, a team, or a customer program
- Bonus: Experience with technical products, B2B SaaS, or regulated industries
- Builder mindset: You thrive on creating structure from chaos and get energized by 0 to 1 problems
- AI-native operator: You default to using AI agents and automation to streamline workflows
- Analytically sharp: Comfortable with self-service analytics (SQL, Python, dashboarding) and reasoning inductively from messy data
- Commercially minded: You connect operational decisions to revenue, retention, and customer value
- No ego about scope: You'll jump into any problem, whether it's writing a customer email, debugging a CRM workflow, or presenting to investors
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid context-switching
- Executive presence. You can engage confidently with technical teams, customers, and leadership
- Bias for action over perfection
