Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment and structural integrity.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Assist with residential painting projects and general facilities upkeep to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Supervise or collaborate with team members during maintenance activities while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance environments.
- Proficiency in electrical work, including troubleshooting circuits and reading schematics.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used for automation systems.
- Skilled in welding techniques for repair and fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors.
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for guiding team efforts effectively.
