Position Overview As an Installation Foreman, you’ll take charge of projects from blueprint to completion—directing crews, solving problems, and keeping everything running smoothly. You’ll need to stay ahead of potential issues, think creatively, and combine modern and traditional methods to get the job done right. Your leadership will be key to ensuring quality installs, safe job sites, and happy customers. This is a field-first role, where you’ll often be working side by side with your team—building walk-ins and reach-ins, running line sets, brazing, electrical work, and more—while overseeing the project’s progress from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Lead refrigeration install projects with a focus on safety, quality, and timely completion Read and execute plans from blueprints, directing crews through each phase of the install Work with the scheduler to coordinate project timelines—daily, weekly, and monthly Ensure crews have the manpower, tools, and equipment needed to stay on schedule Conduct and attend job site and department meetings as needed Maintain job site safety: hold safety meetings, enforce PPE use, and follow all protocols Monitor job costs and material usage; work with operations to manage inventory efficiently Support training efforts by identifying common issues and helping improve team skills Perform quality control checks to ensure all installs meet 5-Star Refrigeration standards What You Bring Experience in commercial HVAC/R systems Ability to adapt in fast-paced, evolving environments Commitment to professional development in refrigeration, leadership, and time management Benefits: Hands-on training and leadership development.
