Construction Foreman

Allied Mechanical Services is seeking a Installation Foreman: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Installation Supervisor for HVAC/R to lead our installation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical knowledge, along with the ability to read schematics and oversee projects from start to finish. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage resources, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver high-quality installations. Duties Supervise and coordinate the installation of HVAC/R systems in commercial settings. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installations. Oversee the work of service technicians and other team members on-site. Conduct quality checks on installations to ensure compliance with industry standards. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on installation techniques and safety protocols. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. Skills Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and practices. Proficiency in refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration. Experience in plumbing and appliance repair related to HVAC systems. Familiarity with mechanical systems maintenance, including boilers and air conditioning units. Ability to use tools such as an ohmmeter for equipment repair diagnostics. Welding skills for installation tasks as needed. Field service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
