What are the responsibilities and job description for the File Set Up Coordinator position at EDWIN D ABEL INC?
- Complete new client calls within 24 hours of case assignment.
- Confirm initial medical treatment with clients by recording said treatment into case management software.
- Schedule treatment appointments with medical providers and clients.
- Obtain accident reports and enter insurance information into case management software.
- Open insurance claims, send letters of representation, and obtain claim acknowledgements from said insurance companies.
- Communicate important client information with paralegals and attorneys.
- Maintains accurate and efficient data entry during the “File Set Up” stage of cases.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Displays time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Maintains confidentiality, and exercises discretion and good judgment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
