Edwards Plumbing & Heating is hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians in the Ann Arbor area. If you have strong diagnostic skills, take pride in your work, and want opportunities to keep working and earning throughout the year, we’d like to hear from you.
Strong in HVAC? Plumbing experience is a plus.
Our primary focus is finding skilled HVAC technicians. You do not need to be an expert plumber to apply. Basic plumbing experience—or an interest in expanding your plumbing skills—is welcome.
Working in both trades creates additional earning opportunities and helps keep technicians working when seasonal HVAC demand slows. Technicians with both HVAC and plumbing skills may qualify for premium pay opportunities.

What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot and repair residential heating and cooling systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
- Complete equipment replacements, installations, and upgrades within your skill set.
- Explain findings, pricing, and service options clearly to customers.
- Document diagnoses, recommendations, and completed work accurately.
- Participate in the emergency on-call rotation.
- Handle plumbing service calls as your skills and experience allow.
Boiler, heat pump, oil furnace, and zoning experience are additional strengths we welcome.
What we’re looking for
- At least 3 years of HVAC service or installation experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate professionally
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- EPA Universal certification preferred
- Plumbing experience helpful, but not required
