Job Overview
Position Schedule: Full-Time
In the Operations division at Edward Jones, specifically the New Accounts, Internal Transfers and Insurance Operations Team you'll focus on creating the ideal client and branch experience. From account opening, to trade settlement and movement of client cash and securities, to statement production and tax reporting, Operations is involved every step of the way. As the backbone of the branch, your work will support all client transactions and processing through the life cycle of the client relationship. Through strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration, you'll continuously identify opportunities for operational efficiency and risk mitigation, supporting the firm in its key objectives.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Concentration in business, accounting, finance or management are preferred, but other concentrations will be considered.
- CSC and CPH completion strongly preferred.
- 3 or more years of leadership in the financial services industry or in Operational leadership.
- Must have an understanding of the team and department functions, processes, and/or systems supported by the team and department, within 6 months of hire, and be an expert on the team's systems, processes, and/or functions within 12 months of hire.
- Must have strong collaboration, problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills.
- Must have the ability to proactively identify risks and design and implement effective controls to mitigate risks.
- Must have demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence decision making on technology initiatives and/or projects.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, lead a team and manage relationships with others based in multiple locations.
