Duties
- Safely operate crane equipped with hydraulic cranes to lift, move, and position scrap materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with managers and team members
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of crane .
- Maintain detailed logs of daily operations, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols related to are scrap yard operations and heavy equipment handling.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating crane within a construction environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including cranes, loaders, backhoes,
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with familiarity in various types of heavy machinery operation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation and general construction practices.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly.
