Phone Operator

The providers and staff of Western New York Urology Associates specialize in providing exceptional patient care. We are currently recruiting for a Phone Operator to join our Harlem Rd. location. The hours are full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. As an employer we take the time to train our staff in order to build strong relationships and excellent self-worth in the workplace. Duties include:

• Transcribing voicemail messages into the patient's chart and forwarding the message to the appropriate staff member or physician.
• Verifying phone numbers and date of call.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments.
• Answering phone calls for five locations and transferring the call to the appropriate staff member.
• Reviewing the patient's chart and relaying messages as appropriate to the patient.
• Creating and mailing scripts.
• Answering ToDo's, Triages, Web, and Portal Messages
• Creating New Patient Letters
• Work on other tasks as assigned by the department Manager

• Ability to multitask and work under high volume of calls each day.
• Computer skills including knowledge of EMR system.
• Excellent patient experience skills.
• Ability to work well with co-workers and communicate effectively.
