ESI is seeking a Medicaid Business Analyst that analyzes and improves business processes, identifies opportunities, and develops and documents solutions to complex problems, acting as a bridge between business and IT, and leading business analysis activities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
- Solution Design:Design and develop solutions that address business needs, considering technical feasibility and business impact.
- Project Management: Lead and manage business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, execution, and closure. Communication and Collaboration:
- Facilitate communication between business and IT teams, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decisionmaking.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans.
- Problem Solving Identify and solve complex business problems, using analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, such as requirements specifications, process diagrams, requirements traceability documents, and user manuals.
- Training and Mentoring Provide guidance and support to junior business analysts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills . Medicaid Experience Required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
- Knowledge of business processes and industry best practices .
- Experience with business analysis methodologies and tools .
- Strong understanding of IT systems and technologies .
- Experience with project management methodologies .
- Ability to lead and mentor junior business analysts .
