Facility Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs on building systems and production equipment. This role ensures the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained by completing preventive maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and resolving equipment or facility issues in a timely manner. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and a strong attention to detail.

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Essential Functions of the Role
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for both company locations to ensure facilities and equipment remain in safe, efficient operating condition.
- Attending to and reporting any facilities related issues as they arise.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility-related concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform general building maintenance, including minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, doors, fixtures, and other facility components.
- Perform or assist with basic repairs and maintenance related to plumbing, electrical systems, mechanical equipment, conveyor systems, and HVAC equipment.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, and code compliance issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions as appropriate.
- Perform regular security inspections of buildings and grounds, reporting any safety, security, or maintenance concerns.
- Support special projects, facility improvements, equipment installations, and office or warehouse moves as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED required.

- Experience with mechanical and gravity conveyor systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and facility issues and perform minor repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to maintenance requests.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with employees at all levels while valuing diversity and inclusion.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
