We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional individual to join our team as a Front Desk Coordinator. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests, students, and staff — helping ensure every visit is smooth, positive, and inspiring.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and contribute to a positive, energetic campus atmosphere where learning is fun and every student feels supported.
- Promote and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Educators of Beauty while following all policies, procedures, and cosmetology regulations.
- Communicate openly and positively with students, staff, and guests, always demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Help maintain the school’s high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
- Build and maintain a respectful, encouraging rapport with students and team members.
- Support and comply with all State Board of Cosmetology rules and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure an excellent guest and student experience every day.
Front Desk Coordinator — Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out.
- Answer phones promptly and manage inquiries, appointment scheduling, and confirmations using Guest Vision software.
- Enter and maintain accurate guest records while ensuring all service forms and tickets are properly completed and routed to instructors.
- Coordinate and monitor the daily student salon schedule, communicating updates or adjustments to instructors and students.
- Proactively upsell and recommend add-on services to enhance each guest’s experience and support student learning opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge of our professional haircare and skincare lines, confidently recommending retail products to guests.
- Oversee the retail area, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, deposits, and change orders.
- Assist with weekly and monthly inventory counts to maintain accurate product levels and support retail sales goals.
- Communicate daily with instructors and Student Services regarding absent students, schedule changes, and guest updates.
- Support administrative operations by attending meetings and assisting with special projects and tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Guest Services area that reflects the professionalism and energy of Educators of Beauty.
