Reports to: Athletic Director and Director of Operations
Salary: $13.64 per hour starting rate in accordance with the OAPSE negotiated salary schedule
Position Overview: This position may include nights and weekends based on the needs of the Athletic Department and Event Scheduled. Assigned areas may include the Board of Education Office, Transportation Department and Fitness Center, and any other District areas assigned by the Athletic Director, Director of Operations, and/or designee. A skills test may be administered in accordance with the CBA due to the diverse schedule and level of qualifications required.

Job Specific Responsibilities:
The skills test may be administered over the following areas:
Cleaning product handling and mixing, job-related terminology, safety procedures, basic equipment maintenance, and demonstration of cleaning
REQUIREMENTS TO BE ON FILE BEFORE A SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT CAN BEGIN WORK:
Employees must follow all board policies, all state and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of the position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
The successful candidate must complete all required Vector Solutions/Safe Schools courses as assigned annually.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of the skills test when applicable.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to stay on task without direct supervision
- Physically capable of performing all job duties that may include but are not limited to lifting, bending, stooping, stretching, and moving heavy objects

- Performs general cleaning of assigned areas Mon-Fri/Sat-Sun as needed
- Reports unsafe conditions and/or maintenance problems to the building administrator
- Identifies and reports unauthorized persons in the building to the building administrator
- Accommodate the coach's requests relevant to job responsibilities
- Daily areas of responsibility assigned by the Athletic Director and/or Director of Operations
- Additional duties upon request include but are not limited to painting, stripping/waxing floors, and minor snow removal
- Other relevant duties as requested by Athletic Director, Director of Operations, Superintendent, or designee
Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Gym/Weight room: perform scripted maintenance and cleaning procedures on machines, disinfect daily, vacuum, mop floor, wipe lockers, railings, fans/rafters as needed
- All Restrooms and Locker Rooms: Wipe/clean toilets, sinks, showers, stalls, doors, mirrors, dispensers, benches, water fountains, mop floors daily, and stock dispensers
- Hallway: vacuum carpet, mop floors, wipe/clean water fountain, picture frames, and vending machines
- All Offices: wipe desks, conference table, and file cabinets, vacuum/mop (including chair mats when needed), empty waste baskets/recycle bins, empty humidifier
- Laundry: wash towels, fold, and return to the specified area
- Mat Room: vacuum, run mats with mat mop, wipe/clean wall mats and window sills
The skills test may be administered over the following areas:
Cleaning product handling and mixing, job-related terminology, safety procedures, basic equipment maintenance, and demonstration of cleaning

- Favorable current State (BCII) and Federal (FBI) background checks
- Rapback Enrollment
- Successful completion of the skills test when applicable.
- Negative drug screen
