Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Recruit applicants through proven recruitment and outreach strategies such as job fairs and career exploration events, and through social service organizations and schools
- Conduct orientations on program eligibility requirements, services and partners
- Identify potential mentors for the youth population to aid in their success
- Partner with local area training providers and refer clients as appropriate
- Provide referrals to community partners when appropriate
- Collaborate with program partners for on-site and off-site career awareness field trips with employers and educational facilities
- Pre-screen youth for program eligibility and suitability
- Complete assigned documentation with minimal errors and in a timely fashion
- Maintain relationships with community agencies, educational institutions and employers to maximize resources in the provision of youth services
- Provide 12 months of follow-up services post program exit
- Document all participant contacts and activities in case notes
- Other opportunities as available
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent experience
- Human Services background preferred
- Must have experience working with youth and young adults
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate
- Valid driver’s license required
