Job Purpose:
- The Food Service Worker at ECI Management Group is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of food service activities. This role involves preparing and serving meals, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the dining experience for all patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and instructions, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and provide prompt and courteous service to customers.
- Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) procedures to ensure food safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform dishwashing duties, ensuring all kitchenware and utensils are cleaned and sanitized properly.
- Maintain accurate food production records and logs, documenting quantities, ingredients, and any deviations from standard procedures.
Base Pay: $17.20 per hour
Health & Welfare (H&W) Pay in Lieu of Benefits: $4.57* per hour β provided to employees who opt out of company-sponsored insurance.
Total Combined Pay: $21.77 per hour*
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred.
- Experience with food preparation and cooking in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Familiarity with maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in a food service setting.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles and practices.
