JOB DUTIES: Organize, promote and monitor a recreation program that includes arts and crafts, sports, games, music, dramatics, social recreation and hobbies both on campus and in the community
• Assess interests of students and plan activities accordingly
• Oversee operation of recreational facilities and maintain areas
• Enforce rules and regulations of recreational facilities to ensure safety
• Train and supervise student recreation aides
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree in related field or one year of relevant experience with youth, one year of recreation experience, and valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time working 20 hours per week from 4:00 to 10:30 pm on Wednesday and Thursday and from 5:00 to 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday
PAY AND BENEFITS: $18.59 per hour plus paid holidays, vacation and sick time
