Small group sizes allow our educators to provide focused support during this formative period.
The Role We are looking for a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to work with our 12-18 month classroom, supporting children's growth through developmentally appropriate practices.
Primary Duties
- Design and facilitate activities suited to this age group's abilities
- Encourage communication through music, stories, and daily interactions
- Provide supervised opportunities for physical skill development
- Implement consistent daily schedules that promote security
- Track individual progress and maintain family communication
- Organize classroom materials appropriate for this developmental stage
- Guide emerging self-care abilities
Qualifications
Education & Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or similar field
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching credential or Private Academic Certificate
- Background working with this age range preferred
- Required state clearances
Professional Attributes:
- Understanding of developmental milestones for this age group
- Calm demeanor and flexibility
- Effective collaboration with families
- Physically active work style
- Current or willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
- Familiarity with documentation technology
