REPORTS TO: Director of Site Operations
Position Summary
Education for Change is looking for an Operations Support Specialist who is responsible for the school site and coordination of office operations. The Operations Support Specialist provides administrative support to the Site Operations Manager, school administrators, school staff, families, and students. The Operations Support Specialist manages various school-based programming, reporting, and other responsibilities including but not limited to front desk support and the guest educator program.
Responsibilities:
Student Support Services support
- Manage SEIS and student records systems
- Manage student record requests, in coordination with Education Specialists
- Manage ongoing reporting, inc. attendance, student data, etc.
- Support school site purchasing, contracting, and vendor management
- Manage materials inventory
HR support
- Support records request and compliance reporting
- Guest Educator management, including request filling, coordination with home office staff, and response to concerns
Front Desk support
- Attend to front desk, manage calls, visitors, mail and deliveries
- Manage common areas and common equipment (e.g. copiers, meeting rooms)
- Support meetings and coordinate calendars as needed
- Support school site purchasing and check depositing
- Coordinate services for maintenance, custodial, and security
- Prepare flyers/collateral for school events or announcements
- Other clerical services including but not limited to bookkeeping, preparation of timesheets, filing, requisition of supplies, etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years administrative assistant or related experience
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Google Applications.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.
