Remote Registrar
Position Summary
The Registrar is responsible for overseeing student academic records, scheduling, and the Registrar’s office operations. This role ensures accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with institutional, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Reporting to the National Director of Student Records & Registrar Services, the Registrar manages recordkeeping processes, supports reporting and audits, and collaborates with campus teams to support student success and institutional effectiveness.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily Registrar functions
- Develop and improve Registrar processes, systems, and procedures
- Communicate and support the enforcement of academic policies
Records Management
- Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential student records in compliance with all regulations (including FERPA)
- Audit academic files to ensure completeness and compliance
- Respond to record requests and resolve discrepancies
- Manage student data systems and maintain academic catalogs
- Process transfer credits and confirm graduation eligibility
Scheduling & Registration
- Coordinate registration for new and continuing students
- Develop course schedules, enrollment projections, and classroom utilization plans
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and submit required reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor academic progress, including honors and probation designations
- Support audits and accreditation reviews
Collaboration & Support
- Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent processes and standards
- Support student-facing activities such as orientation and graduation as needed
- Provide administrative support to academic leadership
- Participate in committees and professional development
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Strong experience in records management and data accuracy
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of Registrar or related administrative experience
- Experience with CampusVue or similar systems
