Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and individualized care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning.
  • Provide attentive caregiving, including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants and toddlers.
  • Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Engage children in educational activities that support sensory exploration, motor skills, language development, and social interaction.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs or concerns.
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
  • Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols related to childcare, including first aid procedures when necessary.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; experience with infants and toddlers is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
  • Ability to create a caring, nurturing environment that encourages growth and exploration.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of young children and the classroom setting.
  • Educational background in early childhood education or related field is desirable but not mandatory if supplemented by relevant experience. This position offers an enriching environment where you can contribute positively to children's early learning experiences while developing your skills in childhood education and caregiving.
