Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and individualized care. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning.
- Provide attentive caregiving, including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants and toddlers.
- Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage children in educational activities that support sensory exploration, motor skills, language development, and social interaction.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs or concerns.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
- Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols related to childcare, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; experience with infants and toddlers is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to create a caring, nurturing environment that encourages growth and exploration.
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of young children and the classroom setting.
- Educational background in early childhood education or related field is desirable but not mandatory if supplemented by relevant experience.
