Overview
We are looking for a fun and energetic Lead Infant Daycare Teacher. Open Hearts Academy centers around "family" and we value each other in that way.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early cognitive development.
- Observe and document each child’s developmental milestones, sharing progress with parents regularly.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper diapering, feeding, and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to plan engaging lessons that support individual growth and group dynamics.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that aligns with daycare standards and promotes physical activity through teaching physical education activities.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, health and safety protocols, and best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
*Minimum 1-year Early Childhood experience as a Daycare Teacher.
*CDA is helpful.
*Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
*Strong written and communication skills.
Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
