EDS is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician who can confidently diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and property managers , often in high-end residential environments.
Service technicians are a key part of our company and play a direct role in maintaining EDS’s reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism.
• Diagnose HVAC system issues and identify appropriate repair solutions
• Repair and replace system components including compressors, motors, capacitors, and controls
• Perform preventative maintenance and full system inspections
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding system condition and recommendations
• Document service calls, findings, and repairs accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance on job sites
• Represent EDS with professionalism in client homes and properties
• Minimum 3 years HVAC service experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• EPA Certification required (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• Experience with Trane, Carrier, or Lennox systems
• Experience servicing multi-system homes or luxury residences
• NATE Certification
