Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician

Are you a skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician looking to make an impact in a practice where teamwork, respect, and patient care come first? Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Lead LVT to join our dedicated team in a collaborative and balanced work environment.

As a key member of our medical team, you’ll be fully utilized in your role as a technician. Your responsibilities will include:

• Surgical support – preparing patients, monitoring anesthesia, and assisting during procedures.
• Dentistry – performing dental cleanings, charting, radiographs, and assisting with oral care.
• Client education – communicating with pet owners about preventive care, home care, and treatment plans.
• Patient care – ensuring every pet receives exceptional, compassionate attention before, during, and after their visit.
• Training- Lead ongoing training for team members, ensuring adherence to medical protocols and best practices
• Mentorship- Provide confident, visible leadership to support efficient daily hospital flow and timely patient care

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday. No weekends!

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $34-37 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $2000
• CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 5 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Washington
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Training and mentorship
  • Surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring
  • Advanced client education
  • Dental prophy
  • Inventory management
