The Edit, a leading social-first creative agency, is seeking highly motivated Production Interns to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in creative production, studio operations, and content execution across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment brands.
Working within our Production department, you’ll support the day-to-day logistics that bring campaigns and content shoots to life. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role for someone who is organized, proactive, and excited to learn the ins and outs of a growing creative agency.
Compensation & Eligibility
This internship is for academic credit only and is unpaid. Candidates must be eligible to receive internship credit through an accredited college or university and provide any required documentation from their academic institution. We are happy to work with students and university programs to fulfill internship requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with pre-production and on-set needs for content shoots and brand campaigns
- Steam, prep, and organize wardrobe, props, and product samples for shoots
- Pack, unpack, inventory, and maintain organization of client products and studio materials
- Coordinate shipping logistics, including Amazon, UPS, FedEx returns, messenger services, and sample tracking
- Assist with prop sourcing, production research, and local pickups as needed
- Prepare shoot kits, production supplies, and studio spaces for upcoming projects
- Help maintain Google Drive organization, file naming conventions, and digital asset upkeep
- Support with craft services, coffee runs, and general on-set production assistance as needed
- Track inventory levels and help maintain accurate product and equipment logs
- Maintain overall studio cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
- Serve as a dependable, solutions-oriented support person for the broader creative and production team
- Take on special projects and additional production support tasks as assigned

- Comfortable with hands-on production and studio tasks, including steaming wardrobe, organizing inventory, packing shipments, and maintaining studio spaces
- Interested in creative production, social media, fashion, beauty, entertainment, or agency life
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Canva, and Microsoft Excel preferred (but not required)
- Previous internship, retail, production, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Able to lift, carry, and transport production supplies, wardrobe, props, and product shipments weighing up to 25 lbs
- Available to work a flexible schedule that may occasionally include early mornings, late evenings, or extended shoot days
- Must be based in the Los Angeles area and available to work in person from our Santa Monica studio and on-location as needed
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable personal transportation for production-related errands and shoot support
