Level 1 — Commissioning Engineer (Mid-Le
vel)Responsibilities: Support Level 1–5 commissioning activities; review vendor docs and test scripts; witness FAT/SAT and equipment start-up; track punch list items; maintain commissioning records. Skills: 3 years' electrical/mechanical commissioning (data center or mission-critical preferred); can read electrical/mechanical drawings, P&IDs, SLDs; strong attention to detail; relevant trade/engineering qualificat
ion.
Level 2 — Senior Commissioning Eng
ineerResponsibilities: Lead commissioning for a system/package; develop test scripts and sequences; lead Level 4/5 IST; mentor Level 1 engineers; manage punch lists and close-outs; liaise with design/contractor teams. Skills: 6 years' commissioning experience with proven IST/Level 5 leadership; strong technical depth in electrical (generators, switchgear, UPS) or mechanical (chillers, cooling towers, controls) systems; strong stakeholder management; engineering degree prefe
rred.
Level 3 — SME Commissioning En
gineerResponsibilities: Act as technical authority across sites; shape commissioning strategy from design through energization; resolve complex technical issues; represent commissioning to clients; drive process improvement; provide QA oversight across teams. Skills: 10 years' commissioning experience with deep hyperscale/enterprise data center expertise; recognized authority in electrical or mechanical systems; track record leading commissioning on multiple large-scale projects; senior stakeholder management; engineering degree and relevant certifications (NETA, ATD, CxA) advanta
geous.
