Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager located in Grand Rapids, MI. The RN Unit Manager will oversee and coordinate clinical operations to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance in the Health Center. Daily responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, managing care plans, monitoring resident care, training team members, and ensuring the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents. This role entails collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and maintaining open communication with residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills in clinical nursing
- Experience in team leadership, staff supervision, and training
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and healthcare standards
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to our mission of serving our residents with excellence, love and compassion
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
- Prior experience in long-term care is a plus
