Onshore Logistics Coordinator

Role Intent

Functionally accountable to the Supply Base Cargo Ops Supervisor for safe, reliable and cost effective cargo co-ordination in support of all offshore activities including GOO Production, GWO (includes completions) and GPO (where applicable).

Job is located in Houston, Texas. Schedule is 14/14, home every night.

Summary

• Perform act as Logistics focal point responsible for liaising with internal clients to ensure cargo delivery requirements are fully understood. This includes understanding long term strategic planning. 

• Perform cargo planning (7 day, 48 & 24 hr. plan) and vessel coordination duties with internal/external stakeholders.. 

• Responsible for liaising with PSCM MM&IL and operational technical functions to ensure cargo delivery requirements are fully understood. 

• Responsible for liaising with suppliers to ensure cargo delivery requirements are fully understood. 

• Recommend cargo supply scheduling. 

• Input into Supply Base vessel schedule. 

  

Core Responsibilities / Requirements

Act as the logistics onshore focal point, with regards to the timely coordination of all outbound and inbound cargo movements, emphasis on the optimization of logistics resources (especially supply vessel utilization). 


Deliver connectivity and engagement with the MM function, service providers, supply base service provider focal point, offshore logistics coordinator, and offshore leadership. 


Responsible for communications and maintaining working relationship with all key stakeholders. 


Responsible for ensuring offshore logistics coordinator is consulted to ensure offshore readiness for
cargo (reduce/eliminate round trip cargo). 


Produce and issue timely 5/7 day, 48 hour and 24 hour cargo load lists. 


Responsible for administration and maintenance of system generated cargo demands include raising
system call off requests. 


Liaise with service providers regarding the call off of cargo (including materials, equipment, bulks and services). 


Provide feedback, when applicable, to onshore helicopter planning personnel to ensure their personnel/air freight plan/schedule is aligned with operational requirements. 


Mobilization of Service Personnel and others as required aligning with call off of cargo. 


Check for any CCUs over 14 days at service providers or offshore and facilitate return. 


Provide input into Regional supply vessel and supply base scheduling processes by ensuring they are
given advance notice of cargo requirements. 


Efficiently manage and track movement of high cost rentals. Includes liaison with service providers. 


Responsible for updating and maintaining rental tracking tool in conjunction with Offshore Logistics coordinators 


Liaise with bulk service provider and internal marine/bulk coordinator to ensure timely load out of bulk products. 


Track, capture and report unplanned cargo demands (Cargo

Participate in the daily logistics-planning meeting and provide input into the vessel schedule. 


Comply with global and regional supply base standard operating standards (SoPs).
