Dental Assistant - General Dentistry

Our established, patient-centered private dental practice is seeking a motivated, dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We take pride in providing high-quality dentistry while creating an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do

· Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures.

· Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean, organized, and fully stocked.

· Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs.

· Sterilize and maintain instruments following OSHA and infection control guidelines.

· Prepare and break down operatories efficiently.

· Educate patients on oral health, home care, and post-operative instructions.

· Fabricate temporary crowns and take impressions.

· Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

· Support a smooth, efficient patient flow throughout the day.

· Deliver outstanding customer service while helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable.

Qualifications

· Previous dental assisting experience required.

· Current radiology certification.

· Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.

· Experience with digital radiography and Dentrix/Dexis preferred.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· Positive attitude with a strong team-first mentality.

· Dependable, professional, and eager to learn.
