The Edina Community Foundation (ECF) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that seeks to empower community initiatives by providing fiscal sponsorship while fostering lasting community impact.
The Community Impact Program (CIP) is a fiscal sponsor program that encourages and supports charitable entrepreneurship. There are currently more than 50 charitable organizations participating in the program.
Position Overview:
The Program Manager-CIP provides strategic and operational leadership for the Community Impact Partners program of the Edina Community Foundation to ensure its sustainable growth, effectiveness, and compliance. This role combines strategic expansion planning and implementation, support services program development and implementation, and rigorous administrative oversight to strengthen the program's impact and financial health.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-driven leader with expertise in program dvelopment, partner engagement, and regulatory compliance in a foundation or nonprofit environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Program Growth and Expansion
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the smart, sustainable expansion of the CIP program.
- Identify and engage new partners, increasing reach and building scale to help fund program enhancements.
- Evaluate existing partnerships and performance data to guide expansion priorities and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with leadership to align program growth with the foundation's strategic goals and mission.
2. Partner Support and Capacity Building
- Design and launch support services that enhance the success and sustainability of CIP partners, including consulting, training, mentoring, and technical assistance.
- Foster a community of practice among partners to encourage collaboration, innovation, and shared learning.
- Assess partner needs and implement responsive solutions to strengthen program outcomes and partner satisfaction.
- Oversee the development of educational and operational resouces for partners.
3. Program Administration and Compliance
- Collaborate with the ECF Operations Manager to manage all administrative and operational aspects of the CIP program to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure the program remains in full compliance with state and federal regulations, including tax laws and charitable giving requirements.
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and reporting systems that safeguard the foundation's integrity and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance resources to monitor and address potential issues proactively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Experience in program or nonprofit management, preferably within a community investment context
- Proven success in developing and expanding programs and cultivating partnerships
- Familiarity of nonprofit compliance, charitable giving laws, and tax regulations.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and leadership skills.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
