Program Manager – Academic Intervention Programs
Part-Time | 10–15 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Location: Seminole County, FL (On-site at 4 participating schools)
About the Role
The Program Manager oversees the successful implementation of Edify’s small-group academic intervention services across 1 pilot school in Seminole County. This role ensures high-quality instruction, compliance with district requirements, effective communication with school administration, and smooth program operations. The Program Manager will coordinate 4 instructional cohorts and support certified teachers.
This is a part-time leadership position requiring consistent, daily touchpoints (remote on-site as needed), strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Coordination & Oversight (Daily)
- Oversee daily program operations across 1 school, running up to four cohorts of small-group instruction.
- Ensure teachers are present, classrooms are prepared, and sessions start on time.
- Conduct routine virtual and on-site check-ins with teachers throughout the week.
- Monitor instructional minutes to ensure compliance with SCPS requirements (5 days/week, 2 hours/day per cohort).
Staff Management
- Supervise and support certified teachers assigned to all cohorts.
- Ensure all instructors meet certification requirements outlined in the RFP.
- Facilitate staff scheduling, substitutions, and attendance tracking.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback as needed.
School & District Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for principals, assistant principals, and school-based staff.
- Attend weekly check-ins (virtual or in-person) with school administrators.
- Coordinate access to student data, rosters, cohort assignments, and assessment information.
- Communicate program progress, challenges, and solutions in a timely manner.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all instructional practices align with SCPS requirements, including certified teacher delivery, small-group ratios, and intervention objectives.
- Monitor fidelity of implementation across all cohorts.
- Verify that instruction remains fully in-person (no virtual services permitted).
- Document any concerns or incidents and coordinate rapid resolutions.
Attendance & Invoicing Support
- Oversee student attendance tracking across all cohorts (SCPS invoices based on student attendance).
- Verify daily attendance logs submitted by teachers.
- Ensure accurate logging for instructional hours, parent conferences, meeting times, and other billable services required by Exhibit B.
Data & Reporting
- Compile weekly reports summarizing:
- attendance
- instructional minutes delivered
- cohort progress
- staffing changes
- upcoming needs
- Ensure data is submitted to district staff on time and in the required format.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Experience in K–12 program coordination, tutoring management, or academic intervention strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with school administrators.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working 10–15 hours/week, Monday–Friday.
- Must be available for occasional on-site school visits.
- Ability to pass background checks required by Seminole County Public Schools.
Work Schedule
- 10–15 hours per week, spread across Monday–Friday.
- Combination of remote coordination and periodic on-site school visits (as needed for walkthroughs, issue resolution, or meetings).
- Flexible daily scheduling based on the needs of the schools and teacher teams.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate of $30 to $50 based on experience.
