Shift Supervisor Fruit Expert

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Shift Fruit Expert to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting Edible product line, and contribute to the overall operational effectiveness of the business. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently & independently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and previous experience in retail sales or supervising are a plus.

Duties

• Greet in store customers warmly and assist with their selections of Edible products while demonstrating high standards of professionalism
• Upsell complementary products to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction
• Open and/or close the business following all store procedures properly
• Help manage inventory levels with proper stocking and rotation of produce
• Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and addressing concerns
• Supervise team members during shifts when necessary, providing guidance on sales techniques and store procedures
• Prepare Edible products including fruit preparation, dipping fruit in chocolate, and arrangement assembly

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop during assigned shifts
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling
• Proven supervising experience in a retail setting preferred
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management within a retail store environment
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Organizational and planning skills with a workload prioritization
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing up to 50lbs

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
