Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, lead and provide strong leadership for team members, fostering a positive and team-oriented work environment. Bring out the best in individuals and create a culture of energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and fun
- Lead the execution of exceptional operational practices, striving to exceed sales and service goals. Ensure compliance with all food safety procedures, cash handling protocols, and company policies
- Achieve and exceed sales and profitability goals through effective team management, sales tactics, and performance analysis. Adjust strategies as needed to meet and exceed targets
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships within the local community and with other businesses to drive sales and establish Edible® as a community staple. Support community initiatives and enhance local market presence
- Test and implement new processes, best practices, and operational workflows. Provide feedback to corporate leadership on the effectiveness of these initiatives
- Clearly and concisely communicate performance expectations and changes in business to team members. Monitor and analyze performance against key performance indicators and adjust tactics as necessary
- Oversee management of perishable and non-perishable inventory, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste
- Utilize strong decision-making skills to resolve customer issues effectively and maintain a high standard of customer service
- Develop and implement sophisticated merchandising strategies that enhance the luxury shopping experience, ensuring optimal product placement, visual appeal, and inventory management to drive sales and uphold brand standards
- Craft and execute a premium local marketing plan, inclusive of a social media strategy that elevates brand presence, engages affluent customers, and drives traffic to both online and brick-and-mortar stores, while maintaining the brand's image across all platforms
Experience & Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in retail management, with a focus on corporate store operations, team leadership, and sales growth
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Expertise in overseeing day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining compliance with company policies and standards
- Strong ability to drive sales, set and achieve targets, implement promotions, and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings
- Skilled in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering long-term customer relationships
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting, expense control, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve store profitability
- Proven track record of recruiting, training, and developing staff, ensuring high performance, engagement, and operational efficiency
Physical and Additional Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- This needs to be reworked. Not every store manager will report to the Atlanta HQ
